Five burgers. Zero shortcuts. One obsession. Helvetiaplatz, Zürich.
Kana means chicken in Estonian. Our roots are in Estonia, but we call Zürich home.
At Helvetiaplatz, we built a small spot where good food brings people together. Everything on your plate and in your glass comes from the region: Swiss chicken, local bakery buns, regional beers, and drinks made by people we know by name.
KANA isn't just somewhere you eat. It's where regulars become friends, where strangers feel welcome from the moment they walk in. A warm corner in Kreis 4 that happens to serve the best fried chicken in town.

David and Kevin didn't just open a restaurant. They built KANA around a stubborn idea: Zürich deserves a proper fried chicken burger, made with real ingredients, by people who give a damn.
David brings the Estonian soul and will serve you a cold draft beer. Kevin brings the sauces (and the whistling from the kitchen). Together they'll explain every item on the menu, fire up the fryer for you even if they're about to close, and probably offer you a homemade iced tea on your way out.
And then there's Alfie, the four-legged mascot of KANA, who greets every guest at the door and has been known to keep kids entertained while their parents eat in peace.
Come hungry. Leave happy. (Everyone does.)
